Brooke and Chase Lawrence (b. 1995) are a collaborative duo of Puerto Rican and American contemporary artists working predominantly in sculpture and painting. Holding BFAs from Kennesaw State University, their practice integrates biomorphic forms with strange and otherworldly machine technology, Early Modern, and Gothic ornament art styles.

Their ongoing and upcoming work explores the relationships between industrialization, futurism, and nature. They dissect the synthesis of the organic and the ethereal, with that which is manufactured—an unfolding reality with uncertain consequences. Fusing futurology, medieval alchemy and various occult philosophies from antiquity, they emphasize contemporary concerns surrounding “super-intelligence,” mapping an expansive convergence of spirit and nature with our current, often bleak, exponential boom in technology and artificial intelligence.
